Please adjust the original paper to be a more hypothetical research study about the fixed and variable ratio schedule operant learning study hypothesized. I do have some suggestions for your hypothesis. After reading your hypothesis, I had some questions, which means it was not completely clear. I like that you listed “time management on operant conditioning”. But the dependent variable of “operant conditioning is too vague. Can you list exactly what the response would be? The manner in which your participants respond will be your DV. I think maybe you tried to further explain what kind of operant conditioning by listing rats would be compared on fixed ratio and variable ratio schedules. But now I wonder is “type of schedule” your independent variable? If you plan to compare responses on VR vs FR schedules, then yes type of schedule would be your IV. But if type of schedule is your IV, then how does time management fit in? I like this idea but it sounds like it should be something you test in human subjects. I am not sure time management can be tested in a rodent, but you never know! 😉 Feedback from the professor on the proposed hypothesis the paper is on: I do like your hypothesis, it just needs some clarification.
